Choinka

Greetings!

The Polish-American Club of the Triangle kindly invites you and your child/children pre and school age to a Traditional Christmas Choinka for children.  We are pleased to announce that the Choinka Party  this year will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Peartree Lane and  Poole Rd. at 2- 4 pm  on Saturday December 17^teen, 2011.  Friendly gathering will include sharing games and dances with children, awards and gifts distribution by Mikolaj (St. Nicolaus). Please bring the gift nicely wrapped for your own child/children, preferably in a shoe- box size (no brown bags please) . Please mark it with child’s name.. We will collect all gifts (prezenty) before the gathering. If it is possible please dress girls in a national costumes or color skirt, white blouse and a flower rif (wianuszek),  boys black pants and white shirt. Cost of finger food, donuts, drinks, decoration and game awards will be covered by Polish Saturday School fee .

If your child is not enrolled in the school program please consider $10 donation to PAC school funds.

Christmas Dinner - Opłatek

Season Greetings! The Polish-American Club of the Triangle kindly invites ALL of YOU for our Traditional Christmas Dinner Oplatek! By the popular demand this year’s dinner will be held again at the Klara’s restaurant in downtown Cary. This lovely event will begin at 5:00 PM on December 11th, 2011. This is a charming place run by a Czech couple will give us a flavor of “close to homeland cooking”. Friendly gathering will include sharing of Oplatek and Christmas caroling. Total cost (including tip) is $30 for member and $40 for nonmember per person. Spotkanie odbędzie się w Niedzielę, 11-tego Grudnia 2011, początek o godzinie 17-tej, w restauracji ‘Klara’s’ w Cary, NC. To jest bardzo przyjemne miejsce prowadzone przez Czechów, także serwowane dania bedą ‘prawie Polskie’. Cena $30 dla członków Klubu i $40 dla pozostałych, napiwek wlączony.
