We hope you can join us for food blessing at the St. Joseph Church in Raleigh on Saturday, March30th at 12:00 Noon, and then on Sunday at 7:00 AM for Resurrection Mass celebrated in Polish by Father Jacek Leszczyński.  Confession will be available on Sunday at 6:30 AM.

Wieczór ze Zbigniewem Bujakiem - "Transformacja Systemów Politycznych: Fenomen Solidarności, Aksamitnej Rewolucji i Pomarańczowej Rewolucji - Sukcesy i Porażki"

ZbigniewBujak, polski polityk, działacz opozycji demokratycznej za czasów Solidarnosci, a nastepnie poseł na Sejm I i II kadencji, oraz wykładowca na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, bedzie honorowym gosciem Klubu Polsko-Amerykanskiego.  Pan Bujak będzie mowił o swoich doswiadczeniach a takze odpowiadać bedzie na zadawane pytania.  Według Pana Bujaka, nie ma obaw  przed tematami i pytaniami ktore dla niektorych mogly by sie wydawać “niewygodne”.  Spotkanie to odbedzie sie w Piatek, 22 Marca, 2013 o godzinie 19:00 w jednej z sal konferencyjnych należacych do FirstPoint Resources, Inc., przy 1500 Sunday Drive, Suite 102, Raleigh, NC (w pobliżu PNC Center, dawniej RBC Center).  Podczas prezentacji poczestunek bedzie oferowany przez Klub Polsko-Amerykański.  Zainteresowanych serdecznie zapraszamy.

Evening with Zbigniew Bujak – “Transformation of Political Systems:  Solidarity Phenomenon, Orange and Velvet Revolution, their  Triumphs and Failures.”

Zbigniew Bujak, Polish politician, labor organizer and pro-democracy activist,  one of former leaders of the Solidarity movement, and recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award in 1986, will be the honorary guest speaker in Raleigh, NC, on Friday, March 22, 2013, at FirstPoint Resources, Inc.,  1500 Sunday Drive, Suite 102, Raleigh, NC.  This event will start at 7:00 PM.  Mr. Bujak will be talking about his past experiences and will be answering questions from participants.  Light refreshments will be served.

Changes to Polish-American Club - Constitution and Bylaws - April 2, 2013

Per current PAC Constitution and Bylaws

 "ARTICLE V: AMENDMENTS

Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by a 3/5 vote of the Executive

Board. Notices stating the proposed changes shall be circulated to the

membership at least two weeks prior to a meeting. A vote by two-thirds of the

membership present at the meeting would ratify such a change."

Changes will be voted at the next monthly PAC meeting, Tuesday, April 2nd, at 7 pm.

Please plan to attend this meeting.  A document with proposed bylaws changes will be sent via e-mail.
