Polish-American Picnic, Sunday, May 15

The Polish-American Club of the Triangle cordially invites you to our annual Polish-American Picnic.

When: Sunday, May 15, 2016, 2:00 PM – sunset– rain or shine

Where: Lake Wheeler Park, 6404 Lake Wheeler Rd., Raleigh, NC 27603.

Cost of attendance (per person):

Adults (18+): Club members: $8, non-members: $10 

Teenagers (12-18): Club members: $5, non-members: $7

Children under 12:  FREE

The Club will provide delicious picnic food: hamburgers, hot-dogs, water and soft drinks.

No need to bring anything except yourselves. 

Note that NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE PARK.

LAST REMINDER: PAC 2015 Photography Contest

This is the last reminder.

The Contest’s theme is Poland we don’t know. We believe that there are many yet undiscovered aspects of Poland and of being Polish. We are looking for digital photographs that capture unique, original and creative images of anything and everything truly Polish – as defined and revealed by the contesting photographers.  Ideally, your photographs should highlight the diversity of Polish people, their history, culture and customs, whether the images are taken in Poland, the United States or anywhere in the world.

The Club intends to award the following prizes:

Grand Prize          $500 & a commemorative plaque

2^nd Prize               $300 & a commemorative plaque

3^rd Prize                $100 & a commemorative plaque

Deadline for submitting entries is January 31, 2016
