Polish Mardi Gras - Ostatki


The Polish-American Club of the Triangle cordially invites its Members and Friends to
the Polish Mardi Gras (Ostatki) Party
When:  Saturday, February 25th, 2017 from 7:00 PM till 1:00 AM
Where:  Holly Glen, 201 Hollymont Dr., Holly Springs, NC 27540 (in front of the Holly Glen swimming pool)

Cost (paid at the door – cash, checks)
PAC members (who paid 2017 dues): $10/person
Non-members: $30/person (perfect opportunity to pay your 2017 dues!)

The Club will provide soft drinks as well as music and room decorations.

Congratulations to Mark Fountain and Brenda Bruce for the Amicus Poloniae Award

The Amicus Poloniae Award recognizes significant contributions enhancing knowledge of Polish and Polish-American heritage by individuals not belonging to the Polish-American community. It will be presented to Dr. Alvin Mark Fountain II and Brenda Bruce who co-founded the Paderewski Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2014 (paderewski-festival.org). Dr. Fountain, the President of the Festival, is a former administrator with the State of North Carolina and for more than 25 years he taught history at North Carolina State University. In 2008, Dr. Fountain was appointed as an Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland. The Vice-President and Secretary of the Festival, Brenda Bruce is an accomplished pianist, harpsichordist, acclaimed teacher, and accompanist dedicated to the promotion of classical piano performance of the highest quality.

The 31st International Festival of Raleigh

The 31st International Festival of Raleigh will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center starting Friday, October 14th, until Sunday, October 16th, 2016.

This year our Club will be hosting a cultural booth as well as a sidewalk cafe.
We hope to see you there as volunteers or visitors.

As every year the Club is organizing a bonfire picnic - Ognisko.

WHERE – Lakeside Pavilion at Wendell Falls, Wendell, NC

The Club will provide delicious food and soft drinks.
Cost: $8 Club members, $10 non-members, children under 12 free.
